Privacy Policy

When you select a chat export, the file is read by code running inside your own web browser. The contents of your conversation are held in your device's memory only for as long as the page is open. We do not transmit the file to BetweenChats servers, and closing or reloading the page discards it.

• Your chat export file or any copy of it.
• The text of any individual message.
• Names, phone numbers or contact details found inside a conversation.
• Your generated report, unless you deliberately save or export it yourself.

You do not create an account, provide an email address or set a password to use the core analysis experience. We therefore hold no profile about you.

We may collect privacy-respecting, aggregate usage information such as page views and broad device type, purely to understand which parts of the product are useful. This information is never linked to a conversation, participant or message.

If you choose to save or share a result card, that action is initiated by you and the card contains only summary statistics — never message text. Anything you share afterwards is outside our control.

BetweenChats is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to WhatsApp, Meta Platforms or any messaging provider. We do not sell, rent or trade your data, because we do not hold it.

BetweenChats is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, or under the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction.
